Welcoming White, Grey And Wood Interiors

Welcoming White, Grey And Wood Interiors

Presenting two modern white, grey and wood interiors, each with wonderfully welcoming vibes that make you want to wander right in and stay a while. These are homes with simple comforts in mind. Colour is calming, furniture is minimal. There is nothing overcomplicated to distract the eye and exhaust the mind yet there is a crisp and confident sense of style, one of complete peaceful self-assurance. Warm throws and rugs soften the simple lounge of the first, whilst a remarkable ensuite bathroom hides at the back. Concrete decor gives the second interior a cool industrial edge, but natural timber elements and lovingly selected pieces redress the warm balance.

A cosy faux sheepskin rug and strewn throws instantly send a message of “kick your shoes off at the door and prepare to get cosy.” A sunshine yellow cushion pads a rattan chair in the window, making up a perfectly light and comfy reading spot. A huge TV unit features bookcases in each end to put reading material close to hand. Looks like the four legged family member has claimed it as her very own cat furniture though!

Indoor plants are complemented by green throws, which vibe beautifully with the natural timber elements in the room.

Behind the grey sofa, the living room opens up into a dining room and good sized kitchen.

Natural wood grain units make up one wall of the kitchen design. Their finish melds smoothly with the wood laminate flooring and the adjacent dining table.

More storage cabinets fill the adjacent wall, this time finished in white to define the dining area. A grey Drop chair stands out against the colourless canvas. A white dining room pendant light plays on the shape of the round dining table.

A wooden bench makes a repositionable window seat.

Framed doors and drawer fronts build a high quality kitchen. Open kitchen shelving gives the design a homey appeal. Chrome appliances add in a little modern sheen.

A Century Of Danish Lighting poster colours a break in the L-shaped kitchen run.

The second leg of the kitchen is comprised of a white glossy island design, plus the hardest working countertop section that includes the hob.

The same wood laminate flooring threads throughout the apartment, uniting living spaces to hallways and bedrooms.

The only exception to the wood flooring rule is in the home entryway where it is replaced by a hard wearing large format black floor tile.

A wooden headboard wall warms up the white bedroom scheme. An open archway leads into a dressing room and an ensuite, and lets natural daylight flow through.

Obscure glass builds light permeable bathroom walls.

The bathroom can be accessed directly from the walkway into the bedroom or via the walk in wardrobe.

Wood frame double doors connect the dressing area to the ensuite; they form visual link with natural wooden elements inside of the peaceful bathroom.

The bathtub and shower occupy one screened off wet zone, which helps prevent steam from entering the open plan closet and bedroom.

There is a separate WC off the hallway.

A wood frame mirror complements a linear wooden vanity design. Grey and white mosaic tiles texture the backsplash, plain white counterparts coat the walls.

This living room has a more minimalist soul.

Furniture is pared back but the pieces have been carefully selected for their unique and inviting qualities. The stunning modern sofa design features one flexed wooden arm, which serves as a two tier side table. Wooden feet lift the couch clear of the floor to promote a spacious and airy feel.

A driftwood ball and slatted side table add texture to the simple layout, accentuated by the soft light from a Scandi style floor lamp.

A slatted sideboard complements the construction of the side table.

Flooring is split to draw a boundary between the lounge and a connected kitchen.

A wood panelled ceiling counteracts a cool concrete surround.

White recessed spotlights pierce the perimeter of the wooden ceiling. A stylish linear suspension light drops over the dining table.

Built-in shelving makes a focal point at the end of a hallway to the bedroom and bathroom.

Tall cabinets mark a small divide between the home entry door and the lounge area.

The first visual upon entering the home is the kitchen diner.

A black seat pad crosses the dining bench, matching with the black linear suspension lamp over the table.

The black accent is pulled through the living room, via the legs of a small tray top table and in striking black window frames.

Wood slatted panels decorate the entry wall, balancing out the wood fronted storage cabinets on the opposite side of the door.

Small flourishes of greenery invigorate the neutral formula.

A block of black knives darkly punctuate an effortless white and wood kitchen volume.

Geometric floor tiles add personality to the restful interior.

Many elements of the living room design are interchangeable with the bedroom. The Scandi style floor lamp works as mood lighting here too, and the dining bench makes a light end of bed bench. The closets are of the same wood effect finish as the kitchen wall units. A swing arm wall lamp extends from the fitted units, lighting a small bedside table.

A compact desk slots in at the opposite bedside.

Oak flooring runs seamlessly from the living room into the bedroom, forming quiet cohesion.

Decorating a Double Room with 70 Practical Models

Decorating a Double Room with 70 Practical Models

Looking for complete and modern double bedroom inspirations? Check out the double bedroom decorating projects that we separated to find that dream room, whether planned, small or modular! It is with great elegance that each model will win you over!

If there is something that is super hot it is copper. The architect Yan Oliveira knows this, and he did not leave it out in this double bedroom project with a Hygge style that values rose and gray tones. A pendant like this is R $ 142 in Madeira Madeira.

Project: Yan Oliveira

The duo of pink and green candy colors is super hot and guarantees a light and cozy look for the double room. In the Minna project, the reading corner is perfect for resting and enjoying leisure time. You can find a tripod lamp at Lustres Yamamura, for R $ 900.

Project: Minna

The architects Beatriz Ottaiano and Daniele Okuhara, from doob architecture, invested in a frame with LED to bring a completely different look to the wall with a paint effect that mimics burnt cement. Mustard yellow ensures a touch of color to the look.

Project: Doob Arquitetura

To save circulation space, the Cavalcante Ferraz office bet on a side table next to the bed. An hourglass model, like this one, costs about R $ 124, at Belle Brasil Decor. Blue comes into the picture in the bedding.

Project: Cavalcante Ferraz

In small environments, white is the perfect choice to ensure a light look that brings the feeling of visual amplitude. The architect Luana Melo bet on a blue Swan armchair, a color that brings tranquility to the environment. At Americanas.com the model costs R $ 399.90.

Project: Luana Melo Arquitetura

Neutral tones are the basis of the double bedroom, which has gained color with the pillows in yellow and blue. A good tip for small rooms is to bet on cabinets with sliding doors, thus saving the space of opening the conventional door.

Project: Cavalcante Ferraz

The color palette brought an industrial look to the double room. Wired, black and gray fixtures make the composition beautiful.

Project: Our Home Interior

The colors guaranteed a super modern look for the decoration. The trick was to use neutral furniture and bedding, so as not to overload the look.

Project: Mariana Andrade and Carolina Pinhel

Modern environments do not bet on symmetry. See how modern the look is when they bet on different nightstands. The decentralized paintings are the “icing on the cake” and bring green, along with the bedding, giving a touch of color to the relaxation space.

Project: U + C Arquitetura

Supermodern composition, Design & Decor brought a different proposal with walls covered with wood and upholstery. The gold came on the side table and lamp finishing the composition.

Project: Dede | Design and Decor

Red in the room? Yes! The super-stylish color makes the look amazing. In order not to overload the atmosphere of relaxation, the rest of the composition had white elements and even a painting that brings shades of blue. It was incredible, isn’t it?

Project: Yan Oliveira

How about replacing the nightstand with a desk? The idea is a cool outlet for those who have little space and need a place to have their workplace or studies. A chair like this costs R $ 400 at Mobly. The main wall was highlighted with blue paint and the mirror.

Project: Unusual Studio

White base and few elements is the secret for those who cannot dare or spend. Here, the decoration was enhanced with the use of patterned cushions and frames. In shades of blue and with a seabed theme, the room brings a feeling of comfort and warmth.

Project: Paula Moura

Want to bring more visual comfort to the room without having to invest a lot? A blanket can do it! Placed on the end of the bed, it brings a certain warmth to the environment, in a beige tone, does not compromise the ambience.

Project: Cavalcante Ferraz

Burnt cement wall is on the rise and is far from going out of style. The good thing is that you only need a paint to apply the effect. From Bautech, the bucket with paint with a burnt cement effect costs R $ 69.90, at C&C. Blue brings color without breaking the sophisticated air of modern composition.

Project: Sopa Arquitetura

It was enough a piece like the frame with 3D effect for the double room to guarantee a stunning look. The architect bet on orange to break the monochrome palette of the environment.

Project: Paula Andrade

The gray and yellow duo is perfect for changing any room. In this environment, choosing to use shades on objects allows you to replace them whenever you want without spending a lot. Tok & Stok’s Festa luminaire costs R $ 86.

Project: Paula Andrade

Color in the three frames, lamp, blanket and pillows. This is the set that transformed this room signed by Marcio Campos in such a special environment.

Project: Marcio Campos

Natural elements, such as wood, cane (on the seat of the chair) and plants (natural or in the frame) make the room’s atmosphere much more calming. Blue completes the decor for being a relaxing tone, perfect room for those with a hectic routine!

Project: Mônica Nicolau

Another example of how color is capable of completely changing environments. In the Degradê Arquitetura project, blue is also the protagonist and it worked superbly with a prominent tone.

Project: Degradê Arquitetura

Wallpaper

The architect Yan Oliveira brought as a proposal to the intimate environment a palette of neutral and cozy tones where the wallpaper is the protagonist. Another highlight for the decoration is the Adnet mirror, at Tok & Stok it costs R $ 149.90.

Project: Yan Oliveira

In a large room, it is possible to bet on furniture that increases comfort, such as the armchair and the recamier, as Estela Netto did. You can find seats starting at R $ 500 at Mobly. The wooden panel under the bed serves as wallpaper and completes the decor.

Project: Estela Netto

The romantic atmosphere, guaranteed by the arabesques on the wallpaper and furniture that refer to the Provencal style, the room designed by Eduardo Muzzi brings the mirror in a creative way covering the nightstand, in addition to being an attractive decoration, the furniture helps bring visual breadth to the project.

Project: Eduardo Muzzi

Here, the side table came into play in place of the common nightstand to help save space. Another trick to enlarge was the wallpaper with stripes, which help to create the sensation of elongated environment.

Project: Paula Moura

The architect proposed a mix of styles when mixing the arabesque of the wallpaper with the geometric of the paintings. At DePoster, the pair of paintings costs R $ 70.

Project: Eduardo Muzzi

Wallpaper is featured in this contemporary room due to the superclassical arabesque pattern. In order not to steal the spotlight, the bedding is neutral, with only a quilted texture. A mattress coverlet at Tok & Stok costs R $ 192.20.

Project: Paula Moura

Wallpaper, wooden panel, sconces, upholstered headboard and a great nightstand. That was the recipe for the project for this room signed by Vértice Arquitetura. Rose, a trend color, concludes the composition!

Project: Vértice Arquitetura

Planned Closets

The highlight of this project is the planned cabinets that help to take advantage of “dead” spaces, such as the top of the nightstand and the bedside table, which is also a shoe rack.

Project: Making Interiors

Designed for a 28 m² studio, the custom-made bench serves as both a home office space and also for meals. To expand the storage area, the aerial niche is a great outlet. It is possible to find a wooden niche from R $ 180.

Project: Paula Andrade

The architectural firm Cavalcante Ferraz nailed it by proposing a wooden panel in the headboard area. The element is perfect to warm up the relaxing environment. A MDF board with a freijó finish costs R $ 347 at Léo Madeiras.

Project: Cavalcante Ferraz

The planned cabinet has the right depth so as not to disturb the circulation of the environment. Mirrored doors bring the feeling of spaciousness that the room needs!

Project: Paula Andrade

Another nice way to insert the mirror into the room is to invest in cabinets with mirrored doors. In addition to ensuring a superb look, it helps to bring a sense of spaciousness. Americanas.com has models that cost R $ 630.

Project: Tainá Torres

For those who have enough space, it is possible to take advantage of the wall in front of the bed to create a bookcase to place the TV, electronic devices, books and other personal items. A Home Teather bookshelf starts at R $ 720.

Project: Renata Matos

Gray is the big thing in the environment. To bring more grace to the space, the architect Caroline Brandão invested in points in evidence, such as the striped comforter, and the prints under the headboard. The planned cabinet and mirror-coated nightstands complete the ambience.

Project: Caroline Brandão

To take full advantage of the vertical space, Juliane Perine’s choice for this room was to use a niche and shelves on the nightstand. The proposal allows to use the space for the storage of personal items. The pictures on the headboard wall are also highlighted, in addition to exploring the blue palette, in different formats create a movement for the decoration of the environment.

Project: Juliana Perine

With generous measures, the double room created a space for reading and socializing for the couple. The marble on the wall finishes off the stylish composition and has shelves tailored to the environment.

Project: Patricia Franco and Claudia Pimenta

Tailored for the double bedroom, the architects of Domum Arquitetura bet on aerial furniture under the bed. Perfect solution for those who don’t have much space for cupboards. Notice that the trunk was installed higher in the part that is under the bed, so as not to bring the feeling of suffocation to those who are lying down.

Project: Domum Arquitetura

In this project, overhead cabinets were also the resource used to save space. In this case, the architects bet on LED light and decorative frames to increase the composition. The set with these two paintings costs R $ 104.54 in Madeira Madeira.

Project: Igor and Yan Oliveira

It was possible to invest in a cupboard next to the bed without hindering circulation. The exit expanded the storage area for the couple’s items, so as not to bring the feeling of a “wooden box”, they placed a wooden niche between the top and bottom of the cabinet.

Project: Express Architecture

Good idea for women who dream of a corner to get ready, the double room has a dressing table built into the planned joinery. The pouf is stored under the dressing table so as not to hinder circulation when not in use.

Project: Márcio Verza

Curtains

The architect Isabela Torres bet on a dark curtain to bring a more modern look to the double room. At Tok & Stok a similar model costs R $ 260.

Project: Isabela Torres

In addition to the sliding doors, here, the architects bet on mirrored doors that help in the visual amplitude for this super small room. The curtain in fluid fabric allows natural light to enter, which helps to bring a greater sense of ambience.

Project: Cavalcante and Ferraz

The curtain track was built into the molding, making the look much lighter in this double room where blue is the highlight.

Project: Spaço Interio

The architect responsible for this room bet on the lightness of white and transparent to guarantee a relaxing look in this double room. Even the curtain was white so as not to break the monochromatic look.

Project: Cássio Gontijo

With low ceilings, it would be difficult to lower the ceiling with plaster to place the curtain. The solution was to create a wooden model with embedded spots. It was a show!

Project: Eduardo Muzzi

The LED came into action in this double room, in addition to being installed under the mirrors of the main wall of the room, it also gained space inside the curtain. All to bring more intimate lighting to the bedroom of this couple’s dreams.

Project: Patrícia Franco and Claudia Pimenta

Lighting

There is no doubt that gray is the new “little black dress” of decoration. The base composed of a burnt cement wall is proof of how elegant the environment is with it. On the ceiling, the slot for recessed lighting is the protagonist in the space.

Project: Natália Jacob

Vértice Arquitetura bet on a great trick for those with little space. For those who don’t have a lot of space, every inch should be saved, that’s what the architects thought when choosing the sconce model instead of a lamp, leaving the small nightstand free to dispose of the residents’ items.

Project: Vértice Arquitetura

With no space for a nightstand or side table, Stilo Arquitetura brought a floor lamp beside the bed as a solution, with two directed lamps, helping to create an intimate atmosphere. The model costs R $ 439.90, at Tok & Stok.

Project: Stilo Arquitetura

Gray is the basis of this supermodern environment, which has an industrial lamp and mirrors on the headboard wall. The pendant with three points of light reinforces the industrial look due to the design with straight lines and the black color.

Project: Our Home Interior

The composition of paintings ensured a super modern look for the double bedroom. The golden sconces complement the decor and because they have adjustable spotlights ensure a more intimate lighting.

Project: Elayne Felix

To solve the angled wall, the responsible architect bet on a dressing table under the window. The white brick wall and copper lamps guarantee the Scandinavian look to the double bedroom.

Project: Yan Oliveira

Such a chandelier steals the whole scene from the environment! The idea contrasts with the sober and dark tones of the rest of the room. See that the architect brought as a proposal to heat the environment a small wooden panel and orange clothing in a warm tone. An orange chenille bedspread costs R $ 75.90, at Americanas.com.

Project: Sérgio Paulo Bello

Little money is no excuse for a dull room. Here, it was enough to invest in a different bedside table and a pair of pendants to get the room out of the basics.

Project: Interior Spaço

The industrial style is super hot and deserves to be highlighted. The good thing is that you don’t need big investments like plaster ceiling or recessed lighting. The light rails with apparent wire is highlighted and combined with the walls and ceilings of burnt cement.

Headboard

From Doob Arquitetura, the project includes a headboard that embraces the bed, delimiting the space of the bedroom. The airside tables provide a lighter look to the composition.

Who wants to bring a touch of greater coziness to the double room, the rug is a wildcard item. Riachuelo has models starting at R $ 100. To complete, the frames with wooden frames were supported on the white headboard with friezes.

Project: Simone Saccab

The head of the bed can greatly influence the decor of the double room. The button model brings a romantic look to the environment composed of light colors and contemporary elements.

In small environments, a good trick is to create horizontal lines, which bring the visual effect of amplitude. Here, the vertical headboard brings a greater sense of ambience, by creating a longitudinal line in the room. Creative, the architect bet on chairs instead of the nightstand, bringing a stripped look to the environment.

The wooden panel is a smart way to take advantage of the vertical space of the environment. Another trick used was the inverted headboard, which creates a nice visual effect without occupying precious centimeters in the circulation.

Project: Cavalcante Ferraz

The wood-paneled wall warms the double bedroom against the mirror. Another mix that worked was the nightstands at two heights, on one side, two side tables, on the other, side table and drawer.

With plenty of space, it was even possible to create a dining space in this super modern room. In the composition, the architect bet on the mixture of elements and prints, the cushions of different sizes brings a cozy atmosphere to the double bed.

Project: Paula Moura

The mirror with 3D effect is the big star of the environment and makes a backdrop for the headboard. To warm up, the wood came on the wall panels, to increase, how about using wooden slats instead of a smooth panel? The solution is sure for those who like a neat look.

Framed mirrors are the highlight of this double room where the fendi is the protagonist. It is impossible not to fall in love with the bedside tables with drawers finished with textures and the upholstered headboard that brings a Provencal atmosphere to the double bedroom.

Project: Fernanda Marchette

Want a more contemporary combination than the mix of white, gray and black? The trio gained even more grace by including the mirror in the environment. See that the strips applied on the side of the bed bring the feeling of spaciousness not only by the reflection, but by the vertical stripe created by the element, to break the cold aspect of the mirror, the upholstered headboard warms up the environment.

The shin-style shelf was placed over the upholstered headboard to arrange the geometric frame. At C&C, the channel shelf costs R $ 25.90.

Project: Cavalcante Ferraz

The bespoke joinery allowed to create a niche embedded within the panel that acts as a headboard. The niche was lit with targeted spots, great for spot lighting.

Project: Paula Moura

The wooden niche rack and the panel on the headboard wall were custom made for this room with generous measures. As the wood finish is dark, bet on a lighter base, ensuring visual comfort.

Project: Mônica Nicolau

To innovate, the architect bet on a project that explores asymmetry. Note that the headboard and mirror accompany only one side of the bed, leaving the other free to place the couple’s photos. Great idea for those who dream of a personalized room.

Once again, the doob architecture architects explored wood as the main point of the project. The headboard made of wood reserved space to display the comics. The same material was used on the nightstand, camouflaging the piece and making the space lighter.

Project: Doob Arquitetura

The wooden slatted panel made to measure at the head of this double bedroom was the right trick to bring the feeling of spaciousness, guaranteed by the verticality of the woods. Beside the bed, a mirror completes the impression of a larger environment.

Project: Eduardo Muzzi

Has it lowered temperatures? Bet on blankets and crochet or knitted pillows. The hand-woven fabrics are perfect to warm up the environments and the architect Paula Andrade knows this and bet on the textures to warm the environment with a wooden headboard and wall covered with mirrors.
