20 original and lovely bedside tables

20 original and lovely bedside tables

It is curious that today to decorate a modern environment use (putting in the worst case) of things found directly in the garbage, or on the street.

I’m not saying it’s mandatory, but the recycle all kinds of objects to transform them and give them another use has extended so much that it has become a current trend in decoration.

Old wooden boxes, wooden pallets, old suitcases, stairs, ropes, trunks, old chairs, books … Everything goes to give it a second life, a second use totally different from what that object was created for.

As a sample of what I want to say and to bring some ideas to make an original bedside table, I have prepared 20 original and lovely bedside tables made or manufactured from other objects that have nothing to do with a bedside table. Let’s see them.

With an old suitcase.

If you like to read, surely you have a lot of books at home everywhere. At least that happens to me. Even on the ground I have them. So, a good idea to order and take advantage of these books in addition to reading them, can happen to make a bedside table with them.

Nothing elaborate, but one on top of the other.

A piece of circular wood, or the geometric shape you want and some ropes to tie and hold it from the ceiling, is all you need to make a very original bedside table.

That you don’t have room on the floor to put a small table? Use the ceiling to hang the bedside table.

It is like the previous idea, but without legs. Instead, more bags to form a stack at the desired height. This is one of my favorite ideas and I’m looking forward to it, but I never find the time, either because I can’t find old suitcases or for any other reason. But someday I’ll have a bedside table like that.

Floating bedside table
